Redcar 2013

Under perfect azure soar, upon glittering sands strode 28 DSMS students. We feasted royally, explored exciting new structures, produced some highly impressive writing and had lots of fun!

Golden grains ran between my toes
A scent of lemon ice cream lingered on my nose

The waves of the sea lapped up and down
The sun making my skin a golden brown

I climbed up the swirly stairs
to get to the view when I got up there.

The soothing breeze of the sea air,
Blowing the aroma of a soft melting lemon top,

As I think back on my day in the sun:
The extreme heights of the beacon,

And the salty blast of the sea,
Summarising the great beach of Redcar.
The soaring sun shining down on the white waves,

Spitting and spraying like a Burmese python.
The taste of lemon dripping and sliding down my throat,

The view of Hartlepool and Saltburn being surrounded by
the modern factories and industries.

The delicious, traditional fish and chips
and the grand experience of the seaside.

The blazing sun was beating down, the aroma of fish and chips wafted through the air. Golden sand wriggled between my toes. Aggressively, the shimmering sea crashed against the burning hot sand. Energetic dogs playfully ran around in the pacific blue water. Circling, the screeching seagulls fly over the beach. Vibrant, the freezing tangy lemon top ice cream melted on the tip of my tongue.

Individually they remain a sharp, diminutive and insignificant element in a landscape cultivated and developed by a civilisation that is creating a more modern community with architecture that lends itself to a style that suits a modern, competitive and creative world. However even due to the almost unnoticeable size of this microscopic particle when it is accompanied by others of the same build and structure it creates a soft and gentle terrain that is fine and covers  a large proportion of a growing community. Industrial influence creates a constant assistance in an economy already reinforced by redevelopment and new interesting structures.

I looked around but all I could sea was a crowd of people. I climbed up the beacon to try and get a batter look. I was quite hot so I took off my jumper. I still couldn’t find the class so I treated myself to battered sausage and chips. I fried to find them again but there was no use.
